Drawing both from the high desert and pine forests, I try to demonstrate diversity and creativity.  Having studied Chinese landscape painting, I've been inspired by the "walk right in" format.

I'm currently continuing to create landscapes and still life with soft pastels having begun this medium eleven years ago in New Mexico.

My work has been exhibited in galleries in Corrales, New Mexico; Salida and Bueana Vista, Colorado; and Pahrump, Neveda.

I've studied multimedia with Stephen Quiller and greatly admire pastel artists Albert Handell and Richard McKinley, pen and ink artist Gene Closs, and elegant colorists Hangnian Zhang and Lawrence Sission.

My husband and I have recently purchased a home in Sandy, Oregon.  We love volunteering in national and state parks in California, Oregon and Hawaii and exploring back country and coastal Oregon.
